My LTBc rewards keep getting higher (same participation)

I typically listen to most of the Lets Talk Bitcoin podcasts through stitcher, youtube, or here. I really like the content and diversity from the podcasts.

I've noticed that my reward has been higher each of the last 5 weeks. Does that mean that there is less participation...or the audience is declining? I have only done a few posts, and usually remember to enter the "magic word".

It could just be the holidays also, and people taking some time off. (sorry if I just half answered the question)

I was also thinking it could be the declining value of LTBc. I don't change my listening habits to get more magic words, but I really do like the idea of LTBc.

Maybe more uses for LTBc would greatly increase the value. I haven't seen many updates on letting people here use LTBc for tipping. Also, if you give money off for people paying for advertisement spots/other services here, then people would start using/holding it more.

I really like this platform, as everyone can use it in their own way. I mostly listen to the podcasts, because I have so much traveling time, and can listen to them while multitasking.

  You can check out the stats page to see details on each weekly distribution: http://letstalkbitcoin.com/ltbcoin-stats - in short, the reason is that there has been less users participating overall the past several weeks, which means the weekly LTBc is split between less people. Probably has something to do with the holidays :) The amount of LTBcoin that is given away is pre defined, doesnt have any relation to the current exchange rate.

  I think your correct that more uses of LTBc should increase its value. We have some stuff in the works for that coming very soon!

  ...and PoP rules got better and spamming the system was reduced a bit /made more difficult... so less points distributed to spammers and more for the rest.

  Maybe wishful thinking but I expected bigger distribution for the same participation the moment I heard the new rules... so, at least to me, it makes sense.
