I look at it as my input is valued. By being a part of the community an acknowledgement is received. Honestly it doesn't have to be a thing, it could even just be a simple e-mail blast saying, thanks. So I know coming here and contributing by commenting or consuming content is valuable. I find myself coming here to spend my time, because a. the content is great, and b. because it's worth my time.

@adampoulton How about offering rewards for people that scan through the content and highlight bad information, or content that is trying to maximise rewards via unethical methods.ie picking up a typo would be at the lower end of the scale, picking up a critical factual detail in a technical paper, or a faulty code in a wallet, a higher reward.
It a good idea but i do not think it will be done.

@cedesl0v I listen to lots of podcast though the week, and think I would participate in this community even if shares were not offered. With coin being offered I find myself thinking in terms of "What commuinty action optimizes return?". Is this just selfish thinking or an example of a market pricing community action? I feel torn between ingnoring rewards and just being a part, or spending time I would spend anyway, but with mind towards what earns LTBcoin. Is acting on rewards dirty thinking?
I would not say that it is selfish thinking to participate in terms of knowing the more you participate, the more coins you will receive. I would say it is a natural thought. After all I think I would participate in this forum also, even if it were not for the rewards. I must admit it was the rewards that brought me here. But, I have a lot of fun and really am enjoying meeting new people from around the world.

Nowadays people do nothing without incentive.

I don't think that this way of thinking has changed much. Even if your incentive was to just make the world a happier place, so you can give your wealth away, we are all driven by incentives.

Why "dirty"? It's normal thinking for people.

First of all, this forum should have clear written rules about unethical methods. Some people even don't realize that they do something unethical.
