Melotic user requirements

These are overly intrusive and unneccessary. Yet another site that wants to keep detailed info about me, including phone number, street address, national ID/passport number, etc. in their internal database that they promise to take good care of. What could possibly go wrong?

  There's another thread about this, btw I think that there must be a reason behind their decision, maybe the introduction of a USD-BTC market?

  I'm sure you're right. I can't imagine any other reason. I'm going with Poloniex instead, I've used them for a long time and never had any issues. Also I don't want to exchange for USD, just BTC.

  Most users will trade on Poloniex now, waiting for another exchange in the meantime...

  Trading volume looks much heavier at Poloniex too.

  I did send an email to cryptsy about it a while back, but never got a reply. I should probably followup - the more exchanges the better!!!

  all trade in melotic requirement must id card and verification another document , i think member out in there and traffic trade low market low

  yep, I think thats pretty much the end of melotic.. requiring ID for pure crypto to crypto trading makes no sense

  I also do not use melotic, I prefer to use poloniex. but all of it is up to each individual preferences. if in poloniex seems easier to use
