  was out of the country for a week lately, but there would be no stimuli for me to catch up with the podcasts I missed.

  You should listen to the podcasts for the content. The LTBc via Magic Words is just a bonus. Just my opinion, of course. YMMV.

  You listen because you want to, not because it earns you money. Think it as a thank you reward more than anything.

  @carra23 I have missed magic words earlier, but I mostly get them within the 4 days. I think it evens out over a time for the casual listeners.

  If you are a fanatic who can not wait for each episode then you deserve to be rewarded.

  Completely agree. Its not too hard to download an episode and listen within 4 days.

  @frog I think 4 days are fine and absolutely fair to enter the magic word.

  I think extending the duration to 1 week will make a lot of sense in case one is out of town.
