I find myself lost when it comes to spending LTBcoins. Yes there is an exchange and auctions etc. But still, I miss things. IMO it would be nice to have some chance games hosted here or by third parties to spend your LTBc on. If people don't think the coins are worth much, they will more likely gamble it away.

Disadvantages of hosting are obvious variance, investing in a crypto casino is a rollercoasterride. Look at prcdice, even with millions of bets the profit goes from -100 to +200 bitcoin in days!

So it is best to start with risk free hosting, like a lottary. The host is risk free because a profit margin is already build in. That may fix the first problem, but a worse problem is:

The barrier for people to spend their coins. To spend your coins, you first have to spend some btc dust yourself, this is not very attractive. You cannot do many microtransactions on blockchain since that is just to costfull. You need to do it offblockchain, or with big amounts.

But it is IMO definitely worth trying, host a lottery, you can buy one ticket with 1k for example. And the prize is 95% of the total input.

  My guess is that the legal issues will prevent LTB from ever hosting games of chance here. Every developer I've talked to who was trying to set up a Bitcoin gaming site would only do so outside the U.S.

  I've actually suggested that http://GreatBigBit.com/ host an LTBc lotto game and they have messaged back that they would consider this as an option if they saw a demand for it. I sent them a DM on Twitter.

  I don't fully understand what you mean, but profit is big for the winner.

  Yeah, I think they would likely develop something separate based on the few messages back and forth but are waiting to see some momentum from the community that they want to see a game.

  I think I remember adam talking about how satoshidice was not in the US jurisdiction, so maybe a game like that could be made for LTBc too?

  On bitcointalk there are some users who are selling dice websites ready to be online, maybe they could be adapted to accept LTBc but I'm not sure.

  I do not like playing games, especially when wearing LTBC. I could lose ltbc quickly. I prefer to save the LTBC and wait the price goes up

  Probably we will have to wait several months before the price will be higher than 200 sat.
