I remember giving that interview several months ago, but I'm almost 100% sure it wasn't with this author. It's really interesting knowing that shit I say on informal phone calls winds up getting little single sentences picked from it, keeps life interesting.

That said, I think its a pretty good quote

This is legitimately the main reason that I have never owned an Apple product. If they were more open about everything I would probably be more inclined to give it a go.

Unfortunately I don't really like the OSs/interface either, though.

@Mike I quit a job once in part because they had Macs and not Windows machines. I gave in and got an iPod (or two) eventually though.

I'm happy to see that and it came from informal phone call as adam stated.

Bitcoin as digital cash is incredibly portable. It is also made rare with “digital scarcity”, which Richard Gendal Brown explained as a crucial aspect of Bitcoin’s irreducible essence.

Brown derived the term from an Antonopoulos interview with Adam Back on the "Let’s Talk Bitcoin Podcast". Back introduced the idea of “digital scarcity” as a way to “create a system that allows you to make objects in the digital world ‘scarce’”

But Brian Cohen, a writer for the Let's Talk Bitcoin! blog, said a more recent DEA seizure raises doubts about Hughes' involvement in the case. The DEA posted a forfeiture notice last week indicating it had seized 17.24 bitcoins valued at $2,099.87 from the same account, or "wallet," that allegedly had been linked to Hughes, Cohen reported.
