We're breaking a bunch of new ground with LTBcoin and Network Coins. I can't and shouldn't be the only guy driving the vision here.
The best way to be considered is to participate, catalyze and execute so I can see how you think, what you say and do. People who achieve this status will be part of the "Useful People" launch day distribution
We'll be doing a google hangout answering questions organized for Saturday the 15th - you can RSVP for that here

Have you considered lucid dreaming to get inspirational ideas? I get lucid dreams from time to time and recently used the advice in one dream to make money off Auroracoin. Many famous people have used lucid dreams and gotten great ideas that lead to successful work later on. I believe James Cameron received the inspiration for Avatar through a lucid dream. You should check out this link: http://theluciddreamsite.com/dream-discoveries-and-inventions.html
I'm going to see what ideas I can come up with for LTBcoin during my next lucid dream. One technique I like to use is searching for a piece of writing on paper or on a poster in the dream, covering the writing with my hands, ask a question I want the answer to, then uncovering the writing and getting completely different text than what was previously there, pertaining to my question.
I personally believe metaphysical concepts like these can only help your business and help you make better decisions in the future in regards to your business.0 likes -

I like to think my life is one big lucid dream :) Looking forward to what you come up with.

Hi Adam, I am certainly interested. We met at the conference in Las Vegas and had some really interesting discussions. I have shared some of my ideas recently on this forum and ready to contribute any way I can. I wrote you an email yesterday about participating on the LTB project so I'll follow up with that info.
I am not a programmer but more of a writer, editor, marketer, thinker, organizer with a fair amount of experience writing articles and essays, writing copy for sales and marketing purposes, advertising/sponsorship sales, investor relations, entrepreneurship, etc. Also I am free to brainstorm either on or off the air. I see a massive amount of change coming, especially with all of the advances in smart contracts, smart property, and DAOs. A day doesn't go by when I don't have an idea about how apply these advances to real businesses but as you say there is only so much one person can do.
One thing I see a need for is more effort to bridge the gap between the newbies to Bitcoin and the experienced enthusiasts. I think your show is attracting a lot of fairly advanced users but to capture a wider audience we might have to create a separate/ongoing program for new users. This basic info is out there, but it is cluttered all over the Internet and most newbies don't know where to start. I think really short instructional videos would be a good addition - how to get a wallet, where to buy bitcoin, where to spend it. etc. LTB could work on being that easy place to get started in addition to covering the most cutting edge concepts.
There are a lot of media networks that could utilize this LTBcoin model if we can prove it works so I am pretty enthusiastic about helping to prove that it will! Let me know what kind of help you might need.
Best Regards,

Yeah, my intent is to be the trailblazer on this. I think we'll be big in our niche, maybe it'll be a reason to branch out to talking about other things besides Crypto but I think it might be better to stay small and valuable.

Not sure if you've noticed, but my focus is content - I am a great evangelist but I hate selling and I'm an awful closer because I'm too empathetic. Let's Talk Bitcoin! needs evangelists who can be the first buyers of sponsorships for LTB shows. We're going to be selling monthly sponsorships as decentralized, tradable tokens also built on CounterParty. People will use LTBcoin to bid for the Sponsorships, at first they'll be sold monthly but it might eventually become weekly.
The sponsor auction will take place on the Counterparty Decentralized Exchange - At first, few of our interested sponsors are going to jump through those hoops and there won't be much competition. We need autonomous evangelist/sales to buy sponsorships through this process at the cheapest price they can get them (in LTBcoin), and then sell the sponsorships on to would-be-advertisers (for profit, in Bitcoin or whatever) who comply with our network standards, and then facilitate the execution of their sponsorship through our system. Also it should be noted listeners can be sponsors so long as their messaging complies with our standards.
With regards to new user content, I agree and I'm going to be setting aside some specific portions of the Content allocation to go towards shows targeting extreme new users. We'll probably have two. We also are going to be adding some less libertarian content, the network is a little heavily weighted right now.
Does that make sense?
Edit:On another note, this project NEEDs people besides me driving it. I get TOTALLY bogged down in details and get analysis paralysis, also I have a real fear of success so I slow down as I get close to launch. I have been feeling this resistance on finishing the few fundamental papers on this. Going to give it another try tomorrow.
Organization is a primary failing of mine, you can tell from the collaboration thread I am looking for other models because I want to take myself out of this role as quickly as possible but we need a way to organize and focus effort forward and overcome the hurdles that inevitably will come.

So there are lots of ways you could get involved, and this is a good time to do it. What type of thing do you want to focus on? We need everything.

Here's the vision I've been thinking of and I added some features to help organize content.
This is just an idea, I'm still trying to wrap my head around your vision.
Collect ideas for program distribution.Users vote on the type of content they would like published.Newbie Info, HowTo's, Trading, General News, Altcoins, Bitcoin, Litecoin, etc. <- These become shows and distribution channels.Teams are assembled some team members could fill multiple roles across more than one program.Reporters collect/create content submit to providers(Reporters upload content to the network (text, audio, video, etc.)Determine best content (LTB Community sorts through content to determine most interesting news)Collaborate on content (Community distributes news to content creator groups)Publish inside network (Content is published for review inside network for peer review)Network publishes content publicly across its channels (Youtube, iTunes, Websites, Blogs, etc.)Content creators and reporters are paid after the week is over based on site traffic.
The overall idea is that the news generated is based on what the community wants to hear about. Content is provided on demand. Funds could be allocated for creating certain stories that might require expenses, I'm not sure on how to handle that.

"I am a great evangelist but I hate selling and I'm an awful closer because I'm too empathetic."
What's the famous joke? The most important thing is sincerity. Once you can fake that you've got it made. :)
More seriously, you've got it backwards. If you can be truly empathetic and actually care about the customer or client, then the sale is easy, because you aren't conning them, you're helping them. Unless you're actually selling snake-oil or scamming someone, if you believe in your product and your intention is to help the customer, sales are easy. What makes a good salesperson? If you're willing to tell someone, in certain situations, not to buy your product.
I used to despise sales. I worked in tech for many years. I'm an honest guy who hates lying or deceiving people, and I assumed that's what it was all about. Okay, maybe it is sometimes. :) Yet somehow, when I had to take on a sales role, I not only did well, I achieved exceptional results. And I never lied or deceived anyone. It's ironic, if you focus on the results, you won't get them, if you don't, you just might.0 likes -

I'm just saying, it would be awesome to have some true believers who can focus on evangelizing the sales side and external marketing strategies.

And I think you're right, that's exactly what you need. People who believe in the project, the ecosystem, and the vision. If you try to hire a "hot-shot" sales guy from another field, who knows nothing about bitcoin, it won't work, or worse it could backfire.
I'm not offering myself, I have never been in communications or media and don't know the industry, or have the contacts, but there have got to be people out there who do, and would make a great fit. My point was that we shouldn't view "sales" as a dirty word. If you're a great salesperson who loves bitcoin and media, here is your chance!0 likes -
