IMO, both of them are going to live on the fringe. They dont really have much unique about them, just different variables for block rewards. Dogecoin has a pretty large and strong community though. not sure how long it will last

I can't speak for Litecoin, but Dogecoin is down about 90% since January ...

hmmm, I think litcoin and dogecoin will stabilize at the price now, or at least will go down and up, but with the small number ...

Doge or LTC mining is not profitable at the moment. BUT there are alot of people who said that they are at their bottom now, therefore the value will increase in the next months.
I don't know who I should trust, I just don't mine them :)

Dogecoin was quite popular at some time, but now it's just a worthless meme.

I think the only reason the DOGE community "appears" to still be strong, is because a vast majority of those people have huge amounts of the coins. They are all hoping and praying that the price goes back up. -90% of its value in 7 months, come on...
Litecoin on the other hand has been severely handicapped by both the Asic market and no innovation. Many of the people who invested heavily in Asic miners, insta dump their LTC for BTC. 6 months of that has lead to a steady decline in value of the coin. Then add into the mix that the alt coin scene has changed completely in the last 6th months.
Long gone is the MAJOR advantage LTC used to have over BTC (transaction times) since now many other coins have an even faster transaction time.
I actually got into crypto to mine LTC. I have switched 4 months ago. I think long term, LTC is in major trouble. DOGE will have next to no value whatsoever in 1-3yrs
just my opinion, could be wrong, could be right...wouldnt be the first time either way

They're not just for fan. Behind some crypto projects like LTC or DOGE, there are great devs or very professional people helping and developing :D
IMAO, prices are going to be higher but now it's summer and there's very little volume.

I think Doge you may see the quickest return short term. They all have the potential to have staying power. Litecoin, silver to Bitcoin's gold and Doge as the penny or tipping currency.

I see DOGE as a fun currency for kids, for tipping etc. Litecoin will just go down. No innovation, just another BTC clone. This is already show as LTC has lost 25% of its price in a last month. When and if all these 2nd generation coins live to their expectations time will become even harder for LTC and DOGE.
Just my opinion!
