Please excuse me for my ignorance on this topic. I really didn't even want to ask :)

I've never been much of a podcast listener, mostly just through embedded players on webpages, until LTB made it's way into my life :)

What's the best way I can't keep up and listen to the LTBn shows on my Android? I guess this question might be kinda moot when the LTB Android app is out.... but it's good to know how to do something more than just one way :)

What do you use for podcasts on Android?

What y'all use for podcasts on Android?

I use an app called Podcast Addict. It's a pretty standard podcast app where you subscribe to whatever shows you want and then when you refresh the app it will tell you if there's any new episodes for the shows that you're subscribed to. I've been using it for a while now and have no complaints so far. When the LTB app is released for android ill probably switch over to that, at least for listening to that show.

I use doubleTwist. Lots of options. You can automatically check and download new podcasts every 12 hours. You can set it to download only by WiFi, only when charging. It will keep the most recent podcasts based on the number you select to keep. Awesome.

What I want is variable playback speed. I find it hard to keep up sometimes too. Being able to listen at 1.5 speed would be nice. Not an option in doubleTwist.

I use pocket casts. Great UI, and it just works. Can find almost any podcast in the settings, and it even has a sync option for using it on multiple devices. You can choose to only download certain podcast automatically, or all, wifi or no, etc. The only thing it doesnt do is variable speed playback. Love this app, and use it daily!
