    @jambo

    I am a fan of Szabo, but I don't think it's as simple as that. The guys I am thinking about are shit hot economists, they are both more advanced then most people I have come across when it comes to conceptual ideas, I am not saying they are right though, I am saying it puts a fairly big doubt in my mind about bitcoin, that's all, but only as money, not as a platform. I can say I hold no bitcoin I only have money in the 2nd gen platforms - counterparty, bitshares etc

    I will try and read through those blog posts I posted. that guy is the mod of the reddit austrian_economics sub too.

    I might try and find them and discuss it with them. If Szabo Nash Satoshi and Dai happen to be the same person, I don't expect them to be as "shit hot" as that sum of those parts ;)

    I appreciate this thread/dialog. I'm waking up to so much info on so many sites its difficult at all to keep up.

    Someone has sparked a great intellectual awakening in this world i think ;)

    And I think probably ultimately we all agree, perhaps in a sense, that bitcoin is not "ideal money".

    But I think what it has done is broken through a barrier we have not previously had, created another "option", for users in the game of economy to use, and thus started an explosive evolution in a previous stagnated pool. I do have more to relate, however, lemme catch up on these links you allude to, i'm quite interested in understanding them!

    I'll try to get through them later today!

    You know what I remember one of them saying? something about price stability lol

    Anyway, I will have a read of those blog posts too and see if I can learn something.
