So if I understand correctly, this reply would count as a proof of participation during the next distribution? This is different then just registering an account since it is weighted against all of the other participants?

registering counts as a small amount of proof of participation. any posts or threads you make, blog article comments you make or pages you havnt been to before (articles, forum threads etc.) all count towards participation points. So yes, your post you made counts :p

Thats awesome! The original post wasn't intended just to get LTBCoin, just wanted to make sure I understand the concept correctly.

Is there some place we can see the code that is being used for this distribution? That is, if there is any? I've looked online at the specification papers but it seems to be around the actual distribution / setup of it all and not how it will actually be sent. I've been playing around with counterparty on testnet but I haven't dug too much into it so if I'm misunderstanding how it all works let me know.

the notification was sent out twice because we had to re-do the transactions, but you actually only received it once (plus an extra for the 5+ forum post distribution)
