It costs quite a bit of BTC to send out LTBc every week (.03btc for this weeks distribution), if you'd like to donate BTC to offset this cost and create an ongoing fund you can send it to the issuing address for LTBcoin

You can view the assets page here to verify the address

http://blockscan.com/assetInfo.aspx?q=LTBCOIN

This is the current address

Counterparty transaction costs are high, I believe around 0.3 mBTC/transaction. So you might pay more in transaction fees then the dust is worth.

Okay, dust part removed. People can donate real amounts :) I think i'm spending like .06BTC between the distributions on saturday (there are two totalling probably 800 transactions)

Just want to point out one potential problem that I just noticed -- if I double click on the address to highlight it, it doesn't highlight the last "9r" of the address... looks like the quote format prevents it. Most readers are probably savvy enough to realize this and manually select the whole address, but I'd hate for someone to try to donate and be unsuccessful because they didn't correctly copy the link.

Can someone explain how the signed message works? Is there a way for us to check the validity of the message using the keys that are provided?

To be honest with you the signing interface on Counterparty might not even be working right now, I'm pretty sure if you check it it won't check out.

But its legit, i'm waiting for them to fix the issue lol...

I figured that it was legit, and I went ahead and donated. I was just asking because this looks like a really cool feature.

@adam Instead of relying on donations, have you considered setting aside some part of the distribution for people who pay for the distribution costs? At this stage, I'm sure you won't have a problem getting donations, but if you continue to do regular distributions it seems like you will need a sustainable way to cover the costs.

We're not selling any LTBc right now, we have 10% set aside for platform development which includes this. This is a temporary measure because we don't want to compete with any contributors who acquired LTBc for work and would like to turn it into another form of token. In a few weeks there will be a more stable market and this will be fine.
