Hey guys,

I ve been investing into a really nice coin recently, DMD Diamond.

It s got a great name – Diamond, suggest something rare and expensive, it s based on Grostl algorithm – no Asic mining for now, it provides both POW reward and POS rewards (50% annual interest rate) – Yay!!! This coin is s got only 4.38 million total supply, current market is just over 1 million coins mined/minted so far – quite scarce, especially when taking into consideration POS hoarding effect.

As far as I can see, it s got a very active and transparent development team and a cloud mining option which pays in DMD Diamonds.

  This looks like another any-crypto-could-be-the-one-why-not-me! attempt at replicating basic crypto functionality and tweaking the settings to try and get some network effect going

  Is there a problem DMD is trying ot solve or is it just trying to be another bitcoin?

  I used to own some Diamond back in the day. Surprised to see it's still kicking around. The new website looks really sharp.

  I myself 'invest' (and I use that term lightly as I'm more of a hold and/or utilize type of guy) in Fluttercoin and it's POW/POT/POS, but I still find Diamond quite interesting.

  I'll start keeping my eye on it.

  According to your definition, we need nothing more then BTC. Yet, we do.

  DMD Diamond s been around for about 2 years, it provides price stability and sustainability which I like. All other high PoS coins usually face wild pumps and dumps and die withing couple of months.

  If you look closely at the market share of coins with income POS you will see that most of them do not have a clear number of coins in the system. For example Peercoin or Namecoin This means that the coins can be milliard and more. People just do not think about it. But why buy the coins that are to be mining to the infinity? Diamond has a favorable contrast. Coins in the system will only be 4.38 million and on the it is worth paying attention.   Yes, DMD s got a very nice inflation control system and a coin roll out. As a result, there have been no successful pumps and dumps and the price s been stable for the last 12 months. Sustainability and the ability to sell staked coins is really important when we talk about PoS.

  The Namecoin supply is actually capped at 21 million, just like Bitcoin.

  I am confident that we will see big changes in price and volume of the diamond market this autumn. Now this coin greatly underestimated.
