Apple Inc. recently introduced a new payments system called Apple Pay, which will allow a more convenient way of dealing, relative to cash and credit cards the new service was highlighted yesterday as part of"Apple’s event in Cupertino, California; where the company unveiled the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 plus. Owners of the iPhone 6 will be able to make payments at shops and restaurants with the help of near-field communication (NFC) technology. It will enable consumers to pay by just taping their phones on wireless readers."Apple pay will change the way we buy things for ever,"said Apple CEO Tim Cook.. and news, Apple Pay will be rival Bitcoin, or may interfere with the price of Bitcoin..

  This could serve as a good short term catalyst to people using bitcoin. If people get used to the idea of using their phone to make payments, eventually they will wonder why they need apple to take a cut of all purchases if they can do the same thing with bitcoin and probably get a discount wherever they're spending the bitcoin.

  And I believe it would be possible to support bitcoin payments through Apple Pay in the future.

  I dont think apple team are support bitcoin but they are promoting their own payment gateway.

  Its possible but highly unlikely. That would be like blowing a gaping hole in Apple's carefully constructed walled garden that would give individuals gasp options...

  Apple has showed no signs whatsoever of moving away from their walled garden approach. It is built into their DNA.

  Thinking APPL will integrate crypto that isn't if their own making is a delusion. The community supports APPL at their own peril.

  APPLE used to severely limit the application of crypto, but this time they were a little open road. Maybe if they receive a crypto in it, they would have two advantages,
