I was thinking it would be great to have a vending machine that accepts bitcoin. But the costs would be high to develop a nfc device for it..... newsflash, apparently it already exists, along with some other cool bitcoin machines. Click on the bottom link for the article.

  Nice idea but it cannot work in all the countries, where I live bitcoin isn't widely adopted yet.

  Nice idea but it cannot work in all the countries, where I live bitcoin isn't widely adopted yet.

  No problem, the nfc module is an additional thing, so you will still be able to buy candy or whatever with cash. But it will most likely not be profitable to launch such a device in your country with such a low adoption rate. (unfortunattely)

  back on topic, very cool. Now we just need some kind of drone that can deliver product and re-stock the machines, then we can have an army of automated vending machines with zero human labour costs :p

  I'm hoping this is a language barrier issue. I've travelled some in my day and most places have some type of vending machine, if not candy; and from the post you're telling me you're unable to ascertain what he's referring to?
