Watch your email for a phishing attempt from invoice-bitpay.com

Just wanted to give everyone a headsup that the latest phishing attempt from shady and less than honest scammers is posing as an invoice for BitPay.

Do NOT click on ANY of the links included in this email.

Be sure to always visit the official site yourself by properly typing the URL in your web browser and never click on links you are unsure of.

Thanks for the heads up. Why would you be getting an email from bitpay anyway? They don't email you before you can do a transaction so I'm not sure what exactly they are after. Do you have any more information you can give?

At the moment my information is rather limited but I've received several reports via the contact form on CoinFire regarding these phishing emails.

Yes thank you much. I had a friend who got this and almost made a big mistake. Lucky he did not go through it.

Just got one- says I got a payment for an old invoice of 1.x btc... With a link to View Invoice (button) its pretty convincing. The link though went to something like bitpay-invoice.com.
