There's probably always too many questions to ask guests, but it might still be interesting to see what questions the audience would be most interested in hearing from certain guests.

If upcoming guests are posted, the audience can post questions here, and @adam can pick if he particularly likes any of them to ask during the show.

    I have two questions:

    1) After the bitcoin in the beltway conference podcast from Thomas Hunt, I was wondering whether or not letstalkbitcoin may interview Brian Hoffman of Open Bazaar directly.

    2) Will this forum have a poll (that receives votes in ltbcoin) to encourage the next interviewees? Perhaps the proceeds could go towards the first podcast within the ltb network to host it. I know I would vote Alexis Ohanian to the moon.

It probably won't be a poll, but yes. I suspect each guest will have a bounty in LTBc generated by the community requesting them ;)

What if we could "Like" our favorite questions and this earns Proof of Participation points for the people who thought of the questions? Perhaps only if the question ends up being asked on the show?

This would give incentive for people to think of some really interesting questions for the guests.

(BTW - Proof of Participation points are used for audience distribution of LTBcoin)

    This is a great idea.

Post the guest in advance with a short bio.

    Plus what Spengler said.

I like the concept but I hope it doesn't come at the cost of a shorter show. I always feel like they try to cram so much stuff in to begin with.

Honestly shows will be getting longer again, we have so much content and everybody wants to be on RIGHT NOW THIS EPISODE OMFG I AM ANNOUNCING SOMETHING and Andreas has been hard to nail down for host recordings with finishing the book and traveling for conferences!

haha, I can only try to imagine your fan club and also your dreaded troll club :) you seem to have quite the reputation in this space and you walk the walk as much as you talk the talk so its easy to understand why things are shaking out that way. I'm surprised you have the time to do the podcast as regularly and as high quality as you can knowing only about some of the projects you are a part of but I am assuming that may be rather high on your priority list. I have been missing Andreas' input dearly as well, his questions for Daniel(i think that was the name of Bitshares CEO) were a bit jagged this time but spot on like always :)

This would probably be better in a live setting. Is there any thoughts of doing live shows at all?

The costs and added hurdles of live often do not outweigh the benefits. Live audiences are a tiny fraction of the full reach so it winds up being a lot of added difficulty and format rigidity for little gain felt by few people.

It would be cool to have a poll for topics that could be discussed. Perhaps ones that would be included anyways, but it would help give you a better sense of which topics are in more demand at the moment by listeners.

A lot of us listen to multiple shows, some not being on the LTB network, so I feel some topics get over exposure by being included in multiple shows within a short time frame.
