I posted something about this previously on my site: http://coinfire.cf/2014/06/14/open-source-coin-pocket-now-ios/
That was the first one they've allowed back. Many others soon followed. Apple hasn't really made any statements regarding this, they often don't but it seems Bitcoin related apps and wallets are being allowed back on.

It's going to be great once blockchain's wallet is back on the app store, revamped and better than before probably.

Yes blockchain's wallet as well a greenaddress are the two best. Mycelium is also really good however I don't really use that one. I like greenaddress because IMO it is the most secure and has a really nice interface. Blockchain wallet can be confusing for someone new as it's not as intuitive. Fir the absolute newbie we need to have the coinbase app accepted. This is the simplest place to purchase and store bitcoin fir the average person (in the usa at least)

I've also heard a lot of buzz about Apple allowing bitcoin related apps back into the app store. I think they are mostly interacting with ticker sort of apps, along with some trusted wallet providers for now.

Exciting, can't wait for Blockchain. Apple finally realized how dumb that was.

They could use their enormous database of user credit cards to provide easy integration with bitcoin apps for the user to make bitcoin purchases. They would have a huge advantage by allowing people to buy instantly, it's just that once people have the bitcoin they're not stuck in Apple's 'walled garden' anymore which is not great for Apple lol. Catch 22....

Unless they created Apple Coin with the walled garden built into the code
