  Hi Adam,

In particular from my album "El Collection" (mastered versions of the SoundCloud versions), I think that you might find particular bars of the following tracks to be suitable for some sort of non-invasive background music:

  1. Parallelogram @ 2:28
  2. Pipikaula @ :25 - :49
  3. Raindrops Falling on a Broken Leaf @ :00

The full album can be downloaded for free, here:

If you want to read the full track listing and leave a kind cryptodonation for the album, the album homepage is here:

  http://www.cyrusfx.com/institute/2014/05/new-cyrusfx-album-el-collection/

Being heavily influenced by ambient artists like Brian Eno and The Orb, I've always appreciated music that can exist just as well in the background as it can in the foreground, and also appreciate emphasis on the subtleties of the composition. By the way I run a website on the history of electronic dance music, if you ever want to check it out:

  http://www.cyrusfx.com

I haven't quite written the dubstep page yet, but all the rest of my researched, original take on the history of "EDM" is there.

Anyway, thanks Adam, sounds like you might be on vacation right now but I hope you're having a good one.

  Aloha,

  Cyrus
