Re: Three Form Identity
Very interesting idea. @Matt do you believe that people would have a higher incentive to participate more if they weren't directly tied to their online persona? I believe part of what gives someone credibility as well in this space is taking chances with opinions and learning from conflict if it arises. Granted, I do not have a handle that is tied to my real name (and who knows that might change eventually), but I wouldn't necessarily feel the need to post on an anonymous account even if I had access to one.

Re: Ask Adam B. Levine about User Created Assets or your Project in the Bitcoin Space - Mind to Matter Crypto-Consulting Services
@Adam - This is a great idea! I look forward to more offerings like this and think it is a brilliant use for LTB coin!
I am working on a startup of my own that I may very well need advice on in the future. It is great to know there will be an outlet on this network for such things!

Re: [10000 LTBC Brainstorm] My Grand Plan and How should we market the LTB Network?
@mich Here's a thought. It's as if you had reddit karma that you could freely give to other people. Or facebook likes. Or twitter stars or Tumblr hearts. The more likes you get, the more likes you can send to others in exchange for posting something you thought deserved more. It takes normal site reward systems, and then frees the user to actually DO something with them.
I really love this idea. I wouldn't even be worried about it skewing towards "power users" because those are the people that are almost the same weight as moderators through their experience with the process.
In terms of the original question, I think one of the major points to get out there is the idea of how you get compensated for any level of your participation in the community. The easiest analogy is reward points, but I don't think that does it enough justice. For the earliest of early adopters, I think using something like: "LTBcoin takes your funniest posts, your best ideas, and your hard earned likes and upvotes and turns them into actual transferable currency."
Eventually, I could see LTBcoin be used more to bootstrap the system and be used for much more than buying up advertising time. Maybe buying apparel at an LTBstore, or access to special podcasts for the audience. For people looking to create content, perhaps using LTBcoin to purchase access to templates or stock information. All roads lead back to the LTB network, which would be great!

Re: World Cup
Even though Germany has been downright surgical this entire World Cup, it is just feeling like it is Argentina's year. The narrative is downright brutal if they win considering the host nation is Brazil.
I like Argentina to pull it out tomorrow!

Re: JEDI, What does your username mean to you?
I'm a riff on the "therealshaq" twitter handle for Shaquille O'Neal. Always thought it was kinda funny, so I put it with my nickname and...voila!

Re: It's Expensive Using Bitcoin!
@adam Todays distribution to 419 people cost .05BTC in tx fees! This cost is only going to grow as the audience grows, how do you think we should deal with this?
Set up a donation BTC address used for this only so it's transparent and known. Maybe you would get enough weekly, not sure?
I do realize in the long term this might not be the "slickest" solution and may not be guaranteed to cover all BTC transaction fees, but I really believe this to be the coolest solution proposed so far. This donation address to cover fees could be something that helps to build community and add a little bit more stickiness to the network. A so called "proof of donation" could be used as another reward mechanism to distribute LTBcoin to folks.
Maybe it could even be a sort of LTBcoin lottery, where if you have donated towards covering fees in that month, your address is eligible in a drawing to receive a bounty of LTBcoin?
Nevertheless, if there was a donation address setup to help cover tx-fees, I would be more than happy to donate to help the cause.

Re: Darn...
B: Separate the Let's Talk Bitcoin website from the prototype LTB Coin project. I feel there is clear difference between the Internet radio entity - Lets Talk bitcoin... and the LTB Coin project. Yes, I can understand how the concept would/could evolve from one to the other.
I do appreciate the healthy debate, but take exception to this particular comment. This is at its very core a token that builds "stickiness" within the network. Why would there be a need to separate the token from the network? Especially when it incentives participation and promotion of Lets Talk Bitcoin?
I love this idea and am very intrigued by the concept. I look forward to the future of LTB coin!
