Re: What Every Piece of Content Must Have to be Published & Paid

In case you couldn't tell . . . yes I'm chomping at the bit.

chompSorry for the late reply @EastSide. Although there won't be an official sale of LTBcoins by the network itself, anyone who earns coins in any of the many ways to do so will be able to sell them. So expect LTBcoins to pop up on exchanges. The first place to look would probably be the peer-to-peer exchange that is implemented as part of Counterparty's wallet.

Re: 10k LTBcointest Giveaway! Post your counterwallet address and I'll send you coin!
@hepucoa -- Sent!
@Winslow_Strong -- These are testnet coins to try things out with. You will need to grab a testnet wallet at https://testnet.counterwallet.co and post an address from there.Posted on May 6, 2014 at 9:25 AM

The LTBcoin Launch is Coming Soon
Today, April 25, 2014 is the 1st anniversary of Let's Talk Bitcoin and, as you know, we were hoping to be able to mark the occasion with the soft launch of LTBcoin. Unfortunately, that will have to wait a little more. Sorry to disappoint you, but we still need to finalize a few things before we launch, to make sure everything goes smoothly.
In the meantime, keep spreading the word, participating in the community and contributing with your help and ideas. Those of you who haven't yet done so are also encouraged to try out Counterwallet on testnet ( https://testnet.counterwallet.co ) and request some test coins at the link below.

@xutian We're moving the LTBcoin launch day because we still have to finalize some details.
@andychao Yes, these are test coins so that everyone can play around and get familiar with Counterwallet. They won't be "cancelled" as such, but they are not worth any real money.Posted on April 25, 2014 at 2:51 PM

Re: 10k LTBcointest Giveaway! Post your counterwallet address and I'll send you coin!
@dgiors @mutatu I've seen the 'coin vanishing' problem sometimes. That usually was due to issues like server connectivity, which means the coins are still there, but temporarily unavailable (not in the Mt Gox sense haha!)
I've just been speaking with xnova (Counterparty dev) and they weren't aware that a considerable amount of people were using testnet so actively. I guess we should have communicated that better to them. In any case, he told me he'll make sure the testnet is more robust.
Anyway, the reason for wallets looking cleaned out right now is that they have switched to a new address generation system, that complies with the BIP32 HDWallet system. You will find your coins on https://testnet-old.counterwallet.co/ and will have to move them over to a new wallet on https://testnet.counterwallet.co/
Also, keep in mind that testnet is what its name implies: a place where new code versions are tried and tested. So it is indeed likely to be less solid than the main system.Posted on April 23, 2014 at 10:15 PM
