Re: CoinDesk Misappropriating LTB news breaking articles (Retweet please)
Sadly, this type of practice seems very common. But I used to think Coindesk was better than that.
Also, note that I just received this email:

Re: Post Preview
@cryptonaut just figured it out. apparantly if you end a line with 2 spaces and then go to a newline, it will go down one line instead of making a new paragraph.

thisGreat! I just used this with success. Now my posts will be better formatted going forward.

Re: [CLOSED] Auction for 1 Hour of Adam B. Levine's Time
@faceface Really sorry... How do I see if I've paid? Adam, I've confirmed Wednesday with Krystal. The idea of a public Google cal is good.
You can see all the transactions from your public LTBc address here:
http://www.blockscan.com/address.aspx?q=1NuoMC7qMKcK5aw8v79NeTEaAMV2gTZV3FAnd I don't see any transfers of 18000 LTBc from your address, so I believe that means you haven't paid. But I think that's not really your fault, as no one provided a payment address after auction #2 ended (no one was really managing the auction at that time, and clearly Adam's time was/is spread to thin). Yesterday evening, @Adam provided a new LTBc payment address for winners of Adam's time (see earlier in the thread), so you should pay to this address (as should @William, if he hasn't yet):

Re: [CLOSED] Auction for 1 Hour of Adam B. Levine's Time
@william I bid 17,000 for hour 1 and 13,000 for hour 2
Hi WIlliam, we're just taking the top two bids at the end and awarding them the two sessions (rather than having two separate auctions). As the previous top two bids (before your post) were 16K and 12K, the current top two bids are:
1 @William w/17K LTBc
2 @Zero4ce w/16K LTBc
And @deweller's is no longer one of the two two bidders.
As I seem to be trying to get Adam up-to-speed with the details of the previous auctions, did you pay for the auction you already won?

Re: [CLOSED] Auction for 1 Hour of Adam B. Levine's Time
@adam @pook2 used his consult last week and I believe I'm speaking with @dsmalone in like an hour.
So that leaves 4 interview sessions that are yet to occur. Have you been paid for the 2nd auction? I saw no records to indicate you had (as no LTBc address was furnished after auction 2, and I didn't see the winning payment amounts on the ledger of the previous auction's payment address). Maybe @William and @FaceFace can let us know where they stand?
And while @dsmalone seems like a trustworthy guy, hopefully he will pay before your hour with him starts.
Adam, do you intend to keep the most recent payment address for future auctions of your time? Or do you intend to create a new address for each week? I think that's really the last tidbit of info I need from you to be able to manage this pretty well w/o any further questions.

Re: Post Preview
@cryptonaut, I continue to be unable to create line breaks that stick through to a post. Is there some way to have line breaks, but not have a vertical space between the lines? With just a single return, separate lines merge into one line. I find this often prevents me from formatting a post the way I want -- either everything runs together, or it's way spaced out.

Re: [CLOSED] Auction for 1 Hour of Adam B. Levine's Time
@Adam, here's the way I see what's happened in the past auctions for your time. Though I haven't researched who has paid, and I don't know who has already utilized their interview. Note that I don't see a record of an LTBc address associated with the 2nd auction.
Auction #1 - ended July 13 (noon Pacific time)
10,000 LTBc @Rob 4K, 8,000 LTBc @pooktwo Adam asked LTBc to be sent to: 1Bagze44h5y95gEhEnCvr6mhmYQodnQeXS (Appears both payments were made)
Auction #2 - ended July 20 (noon Pacific time)
20,000 LTBc @William (CORRECTION: 11.5K LTBc) 18,000 LTBc @faceface Adam never mentioned an LTBc payment address for auction #2, so I wouldn't think either of these has been paid yet.
(Now some confusion: @Kernloops seemed to think this auction hadn't ended, and he bid 20K a few hours too late. Seems like all involved implied that this bid was ignored as a late bid, rather than applied to the next auction.)
Auction #3 - ended July 27 (noon Pacific time)
20,000 LTBc @Rob, 16,000 LTBc @dsmalone Adam asked LTBc to be sent to: 18YFt8ek8duhKFGG2x9Tk5fjuVHncMugkR (Appears only I have paid so far)
(sorry if you all got multiple notifications on this, I continue to have formatting issues when it comes to line breaks, and I think each time I edit, you all get notified)

Practice Post Formatting Here
I realized I never format my posts, and part of the reason is I didn't want to screw it up and have to edit and re-edit on a live post to get the formatting right. So why not dedicate a thread to practice formatting posts, without worrying about people paying any attention?
(Started paragraph with #)
Maybe this will just be my own private practice thread, if no one else feels similarly.

We'll see!

Re: [CLOSED] Auction for 1 Hour of Adam B. Levine's Time
@cryptonaut yeah, it would be the "#" signs, which markdown formatting sees as a heading. plus some CSS styling weirdness that I should probably fix
Oh, of course! I didn't even notice the # signs were missing on the displayed text. I never do any formatting on my posts (other than image insertion), so it was actually kind of a nice surprise to see something beyond plain text. I don't mind it at all, just didn't understand what was happening.

Re: LTBc Toolbox
You're tools have been indispensable for quickly valuing LTBc auctions. I turned to them just now, and found they weren't loading. Melotic seems to be up, but perhaps something is down or changed on their end? Anyway, just wanted to let you know. Great work, a real asset to the LTBc community!
