While most altcoins are getting slaughtered, LTC shines propelled higher by Litepay and a new fork. Bitcoin continues its gains as well but stopped short of a new rally. Bitcoin Higher but Stops Short of New Rally Bitcoin prices traded even higher si...

Re: Upcoming Bitcoin Hard Fork & /r/bitcoin censorship
@twebit What ever happened to the hard fork policy at bitcoin.org? https://bitcoin.org/en/posts/hard-fork-policy Does the XT violate this policy? Always wondered?
They just state that they will not promote any hard forks on bitcoin.org, so i would not expect to see XT on the website. However Bitcoin is open sourced, so something like XT is permission-less, you dont ask anyone if your aloud to fork an open source project.

Re: Upcoming Bitcoin Hard Fork & /r/bitcoin censorship
@tatianamoroz Hey guys, I would like to know what the hell is this fork thing? I keep hearing about it but seeing as I don't have much to contribute to the technical discussion, I haven't paid much attention. So how would you explain it to a person new to Bitcoin, or to someone non technical? Why is it happening? What are the possible repercussions? Does this mean Bitcoin's price will go down? Seems like a big deal, no? What problem were they trying to solve?
You can start by reading this blog, it explains things pretty well https://medium.com/@octskyward/why-is-bitcoin-forking-d647312d22c1

Re: Upcoming Bitcoin Hard Fork & /r/bitcoin censorship
about 4 hours of mine today was consumed in reading about this. So to my understanding, the way this is being done with 75% of nodes needing to switch over is completely fair. And it shouldn't interrupt any service if it does not pass. If no one wants it, then they will not switch over.
I expect this to pass, but i am curious on if Chinese miners will start to exit and if they might dump more Bitcoin then they normally would right at the cut over deadline

Re: SoG - Ethereumcard SwapBot Lottery
@heunland @Andaloons, sorry to hear about the mixup. I suggest you also make this announcement on ethereum forums where perhaps the person that received your payment may be active. Good luck!
If you look at the address it has tons of sog cards so I wouldn't think it would be anyone there, but perhaps

Re: SoG - Ethereumcard SwapBot Lottery
@andaloons Somehow I sent 0.09115 to what I thought was the SwapBot address but it turned out to be another person's address that had JUST PURCHASED an Ethereumcard from the SwapBot. If you have a nice new shiny balance of 0.09115 at your address would you be so kind as to return it to me??
Thanks!!

Odds are that they may not be involved on LTB as they have no LTBCOIN, they also do not have any FLDC except the 10 giveaway from last year so i cant look through my records to see if i could tie it to a donor.
However, I will announce this on my next podcast and hopefully they will hear it :D You could also join the counterpartytalk.org forums and ask there, i will send you an invite
