    @cut any body

    help me to find FLDC adress ,

    i cant found it :(

    Your FLDC address is gonna be your counterparty address. Just head over to https://counterwallet.co and create a new address.

    @bitmaster how does this coin work?

    You can find a lot of information on the coin if you go to our website http://foldingcoin.net but if you could be more specific i would love to answer the question :)

    To give you a summary of how it works though, Instead of mining on a traditional blockchain such as litecoin or dogecoin, you point your power over to the stanford Folding@home project that uses your computational power to help in the development of medical research. Adding team 226728 as your folding team and using your counterwallet address as your username we will then pay you your share of FoldingCoin for that day.

    We distribute 500k a day and divide that by the total team credits for the day, then that determines how many FLDC get paid per each FAH credit. http://foldingcoin.net/index.php/project/distribution-history/

    Let me know if you have additional questions :)

    @cyrusfx I'm sorry if this information is available elsewhere, I couldn't find it, but I'm wondering if there's any way to get the "Advanced Client" for FLDC to recognize ASIC devices. So far I just have 2 CPUs slowly folding away on 2 different projects.

    Is there a link available that explains how to configure the FoldingCoin client to recognize mining hardware? Thanks!

    Cyrus

    Unfortunately this is not possible. Remember, ASIC stands for "Application SPECIFIC Integrated Circuit". The applications that the mining ASICs use is either Scrypt or SHA256.

    Folding uses different applications that are far more advanced than just a single algorithm. There is a folding ASIC out there called "Anton Supercomputer" but it is expensive and not readily available to the public, but who knows, If folding gets as popular as bitcoin, there will be a need for it to come in economy size. Because before bitcoin, SHA256 never would have needed to go that fast.
