The article is really interesting! I appreciate the decision of the Bank of England to conduct a study on cryptographic currencies and to introduce a national cryptocurrency by next year. Digital currencies continue to generate excitement these days....

My article could use a nice coin image (no real coin, only a proposal for one)
Offering 10% of LTB reward for article for this task. I have blank coin image if needed, and another specific one I want to put into middle of the coin. Image is square, but needs to fit into the round middle of coin without being made tiny.
Let me know if interested, I'll send the image(s)
@dgiors I think we can both claim this, and esp. @IvanB getting credit for making it happen in the first place! I'm just hoping they look back and say, "Can you believe they spent all those coins on ... a pizza?"
Hey @bcohen did Lazlo ever get a pizza? He's the guy who got those original bitcoin pizzas for 10,000 BTC right?
Got that pie IvanB - thanks so much!
Know what? It tastes amazing too. Great cheese, but also deliciously symbolic of the great things to come from joining this community of LTB! http://pic.twitter.com/RDw519Fnwf
Such a bargain - thanks IvanB! I might even buy another later for 5000 or 10,0000.
Remember, Adam deliberately set it up so LTBcoin is likely to decline in price under the weight of tons of new coins before it overcomes that with the long-term value pushing the price higher. So despite my desire to hold it all, I'm motivated to spend. And who can resist pizza?
Adam, I'd like to post a couple pieces on altcoins for consideration. There seems to be an endless supply at this point, so if works out well I should have material to last for years ^^
Ivan, still hungry man. Sent 1000 LTB couple days ago. Not sure what that gmail addy is supposed to be either, how about sending me a line at the email listed on my profile. Thanks!
Sure does, this overview is challenging to convey without people's eyes glazing over, it's very well done!
The only thing I would add is a mention of Bitshares. It's another 2.0 meta-chain solution. It has lots of apps being built on it, each with their own chain. Everything in their system is designed and built with this metaphor of shareholders in a venture, and this perspective seems to work well in many ways.
+1
Even with a computer science degree it takes a huge investment of time and energy to keep up broadly or in depth in specific areas. Never both. Making ideas accessible is a always worthy goal Coinconomics!
But we tend to forget also, decent English skills is pretty much a requirement for really keeping up with what goes in in the space as well. Having some folks with good language skills, making content accessible to speakers of other languages is a wonderful idea too.
Pepperoni please, pittance sent. And feel free to ridicule me a few years from now for spending it on a pizza when that's worth a small fortune lol. The place in history will make it worthwhile.
Considering it, if I were the first guy to spend bitcoin to buy those 2 pizzas, and you asked me today I would not regret it. It was really not worth anything at that time, and if he'd just sat on it, he probably would've had it stashed away at MTGox.
