  • Re: New DEX on Counterparty!

Nice to finally be able to easily see some prices

  • Re: Anybody living full time on Crypto?

@katherine22 If I tried day trading cryptos I think I would lose all my money! I have heard it's a very small percentage that take most of the profits from most people that trade! Is that really true?

That is probably true, who really knows though. I would never day trade personally unless I was really confident I knew what I was doing. Iv seen way too many posts about people who have screwed themselves over (protip: dont panic sell)

  • Re: EARNFREEBTC.XCP - Earn BTC with your CounterWallet

@lainfinity there isnt really a way to configure fees in counterwallet AFAIK, you would have to run your own command line counterparty server.. alternatively you could just send to the payment address using a normal bitcoin wallet, and then just email me letting me know what address you want me to actually send the tokens back to

  • Re: Editors' Communication Thread

    @rotalumis

    will do

  • Re: Anybody living full time on Crypto?

@joetothphoto Very interesting. As far as living off of a cryptocurrency, how are you spending it? I assume you are being paid in the cryptocurrency, but how are you putting that back into the world in terms of sustaining life?

Currently I have to sell it for cash mostly since 90% of my bills are still fiat. Probably as good a time as any to start looking for ways to reduce that %

  • Re: THANKS

    thanks! welcome

  • Re: Refer a friend and get more LTBcoin!

@ivanb For example, if someone gaming the system refer users that post a bunch but in turn those posts get negative votes because they don't add value then the rewards get reduced or eliminated.

Exactly. If someone comes and just spams crap, its going to be really obvious really fast. Their posts will either get deleted or downvoted to hell, negating anything they could get from it. Its smarter to just play the game legit (or even if your really that persistant, you could make a bunch of alter egos of yourself lol)

  • Re: Anybody living full time on Crypto?

My guaranteed income each month used to be in dollars, with just a bit of extra BTC I would earn on the side here and there (from web development work etc.). Now it's the exact opposite. All of my guaranteed income is in Bitcoin, with occasional payments in $ that I make here and there :p

  • Re: Are referrals active?

also, great thread on bitcointalk @belltown :p

  • Re: Are referrals active?

Yep referrals are active, looks like there has been 29 uses referred to the site already actually.

Rather than getting paid per person you refer, you actually get paid every week that they are active on the site (generate a minimum amount of "proof of participation" points). For e.g, if you referred 5 people and all 5 of them made at least a couple posts on the site a week, you would get 50 extra "PoP" points every week which goes towards making your LTBcoin distribution bigger.
