  • Re: Is it possible for LTBcoin to reach the value of $1 after 5 years ?

    @hesham3del

    @page I might buy some :P

    It has given me a reason to learn how to use the counterparty platform. You can buy LTBc with xcp using counterparty, right?

    Tbh, I don't know. Try to ask @Cryptonaut

    yes you can. I havnt tried trading between those 2 yet though

    @kerneloops It's just that some projects are more equal than others *coughpetamine...

    :D

    @hesham3del

    @cryptonaut @Cryptonaut, with total honesty, do you prefer EARNFREEBTC.XCP or PETAMINE.XCP and why ?

    Thank you.

    Sure.

    EARNFREEBTC is for a pet project of mine (BTC faucet / advertising service running since 2012). The funds invested in that go towards paying for development time for upgrades (mostly myself, but potentially hiring other people) as well as marketing the site. So far there has only been just over 0.5 BTC invested in it, so there hasnt really been enough funds coming in to make much of a meaningful impact on the bottom line (profit and weekly dividends). Only 100,000 units of EARNFREEBTC will ever exist though (the asset is locked), so if it becomes more popular it could potentially be quite valuable

    PETAMINE on the other hand is a newer experiment (started just a couple days ago, already raised about 1 BTC). Rather than representing profit shares in a website, it represents a portion of mining income from a large mining operation. The more BTC that gets invested into PETAMINE tokens, the higher the immediate rewards rewards are and the more profitable it is. So any income that gets added to the fund gives an immediate impact.

    Since they are both my own projects, I prefer them equally :p

    @hesham3del What is BEST amount of BTC the one could send ?

    Could you please rank them in order First Best, Second Best, Third Best. As after the 3rd best, it will be somehow useless.

    Thank you.

    Honestly, the more BTC the better.. there is no "optimal amount" of BTC to invest in this. The more that goes in to the fund = higher daily dividends from havelock = larger amount that can be re-invested each day = faster growth of the fund and higher weekly payouts for everybody

    @hesham3del @cryptonaut

    I've a question my friend

    If I send 0.1 BTC or 0.000001 BTC, will it affect my future gains ?

    Elaboration please.

    Thank you.

    any money you send gets directly invested into the fund and determines how many shares/tokens you get. If you send 0.000001, you are only going to get roughly 0.0058 PETAMINE tokens, which isnt going to get you very much in weekly dividends at all. 0.1 would get you about 580 PETAMINE, which would bring you in some actual usable amount of XBTC each week.

  • Re: Counter Wallet

    haha no. if you just refresh and then try and log in, it always says that. I guess they want you to use the actual "log out" button on the site

  • Re: PETAMINE.XCP - Mine bitcoin with your counterwallet! [Vote Complete]

    @bitsol Question @cryptonaut, I have xbtc locked. How do I get more?

    the "lock" symbol in counterwallet just means that whoever created the XBTC asset cannot create more. Sit back and wait and you will collect more XBTC automatically over time ;)

  • Re: Forum Payouts?

    @bitsol

    @cryptonaut the 5+ forum thing is done with already. you get LTBC for any posts you make now

    Blog, or forum?

    both. You get "Proof of Participation" points for posting comments on blog articles, making posts on the forums, entering in the "magic words" from the podcast episodes, etc.. LTBcoin for getting blog posts published however is in a different rewards pool called "Proof of Publication" or "Proof of Quality"

  • Re: Auction Question

    Yes I believe so. @deweller ? ( hes the one that made it)
