Re: Thinking of Spamming the Forums? Consider Yourself Warned!
@cherapple I know this is being taken care of in the coming editorial system, but have we said anywhere that spam submissions to editorial will also be penalized?
I think the idea we are going to go with is having a non-refundable LTBcoin fee for making new submissions, which can be bypassed with the presence of an LTBWRITER (or something) token. That alone should prevent the majority of pointless spam submissions I think

Re: THINGS YOU CAN DO WITH YOUR LTBCOIN
@invullx The problem with ltbcoins or any other counterwallet assets are the transaction fees are only payable in bit coins, and it's really expensive to do so.
IMO, it really only seems expensive if you have very little bitcoin to begin with. If you are somebody who's only BTC is from tips, faucet sites etc.. then it will probably seem like a huge pain in the ass. Personally, I keep between like 0.1 and 0.5 BTC on hand at all times, make transactions almost every day and the fees paid (including on counterwallet) seem pretty negligible to me.

Re: Metacoin Posting Guidelines (read first)
@invullx Does that mean if I have a new coin created I can put it here?
yes you can post it on this board. Its more for "metacoins" than your traditional alt coin though. So that means stuff built on Counterparty, Mastercoin, Colored Coins, NXT, Bitshares etc.

Re: Thinking of Spamming the Forums? Consider Yourself Warned!
@kerneloops The incentives to spam vary greatly depending on what part of the world you happen to live in. A user in an industrialized Western country wouldn't spend much time trying to game the LTB system or spam the forums for a modest LTBc return, while someone from a 3rd world country will find a $20-30/week LTBc disbursement well worth their spamming effort.
edit: and this obviously has nothing to do with LTB itself, it applies to all walks of spam, be it forums, email, blog posts etc.
I don't think you can actually get $20-30 worth of ltbcoins if you're not actually spamming or creating fake accounts. Maybe more mods perhaps?
Did a quick calculation, its more like $4 or $5 per week at current prices if you earn 10,000 a week (most dont, but its doable).

Re: Auction transaction not confirming
@tintin *Update, The transaction is still not confirmed, but someone overbid me anyway, lol!
damn man, that sucks. Very strange and pretty rare actually. I remember one time earlier this year I think I had a transaction that took over a week to confirm... no idea why. >_

Re: Updated LTBcoin stats page
@therise How can a normal person read almost 1000 articles like the first one in the ladder lol
they probably just made their account and then went on a major page viewing binge :p There is something like 500 published articles, and every forum thread also counts as a page view. He got a lot of LTBcoin for it (probably should nerf page view points a bit..), but thats also something you can really only do like once, since now probably almost every page on the site is now marked as already viewed for him.
