  • Re: SPECULATE.XCP - Weekly Payouts!

    So I just realized that I miscalculated todays payout... I forgot that I did not need to deduct the percentage to re-invest because the remaining un-sold tokens already do that for me. Whoops. Another 27 satoshis per token are being sent out right now. The new price is actually 0.0000144 BTC per unit.

    @halo

    @cryptonaut first weekly payment made with the full 100,000 tokens and re-investment in place. 0.045 BTC in income received, 61% reinvestment this week and 0.68 new BTC raised.

    This week is actually probably going to be the cheapest week ever to purchase tokens. Price dropped a lot but from here on out it will pretty much always increase (along with the payouts) unless we lose a major source of dividends / income or something. If the rest of the tokens get bought up really fast at these low rates, I might have to issue some more to keep this going.

    Was their original value pegged to the price of the underlying assets at the time of issuance? So are the majority of the investments losing value?

    No, its determined by the latest weekly payout. The formula is: (last weekly dividend payment per token) X (32 weeks). The previous weeks payout (week #1) was made before the full 100,000 tokens were issued (around 25,000 issued before) as well as with 0 re-investment, so the per-token payout was more - and thus the price, even though more income was generated this week. The actual value of all the assets owned by the fund somewhat exceeds the amount that has been invested so far, due to a few asset/token donations by myself and a few others.

  • Re: EARNFREEBTC.XCP - Earn BTC with your CounterWallet

    @asdolino

    "The price is 0.00025 BTC per share"

    I have three questions @cryptonaut before investing:

    1) Can the value of earnfreebtc change or is it fixed forever?

    2) If I buy them and after some months I would want to quit from the investment, could I have my btc back?

    3) How much is the gain (approximately)? Let's say I have bought 1btc worth of earnfreebtc last week, what would be my gain?

    Thanks

    1) I am selling 40,000 out of 100,000 total shares at 0.00025 BTC each, I have no plans on changing the price. Once those 40,000 are all sold, no more will be sold in the foreseeable future (I want to keep at least 50% for myself)

    2) No, I will most likely not buy back any tokens. You are free to sell them on the market though (although not much of a market right now.. that should change soon)

    3) The dividends can vary quite a bit. Normal weeks are fairly low payments (at least lately), but now and then a larger ad deal is made which results in a much bigger payout, like 5x to 10x or more of a normal week. You can see for yourself all the dividends that have been made here: http://earnfreebitcoins.com/xcp

    The intention of this crowdsale has been to raise a decent amount of funds so that I can afford to spend the time (or hire someone) to make some serious upgrades to the site and push things on the marketing front, which would hopefully bring in more users and advertisers (thus increasing payouts / profit). So far I have only received a little over 1 BTC in the few months that I have been running this, so hasnt had much of an impact quite yet.

  • Re: Counterparty Mess

    have you tried making a support request with them?

  • Re: SPECULATE.XCP - Weekly Payouts!

    @arturodelia Looks interesting. Can you explain as well, to help ease concerns of security (for those who don't know), that how this fund works to ensure that if something were to happen to you, and you are not managing the fund anymore, how would investors retrieve their funds? As well, how have you set it up so that you cannot withdraw the assets for yourself and take off with it. Not accusing you of planning this, just I know this is an important topic to always address. Thanks!

    Fair enough, no worries. To be honest, there is no insurance regarding me disappearing or running away with the money or something like that. There is some trust required still... and im not sure how it would be possible to set things up in such a way that I couldnt sell off or withdraw assets into my own pocket if I really wanted to, mainly with the stuff that is off-blockchain on central services like Havelock investments and Cryptostocks.com. Perhaps in the near future when something blockchain based like Counterparty totally overtakes the "crypto-securities" scene, then all assets could be secured in some sort of transparent multi-sig setup. We will have to see. This is largely an experiment, so as always, don't invest more than you can afford to lose :)

    @invullx Cryptonaut, what is the difference between this coin and SPECULATE?

    you just asked me the same question but backwards in another thread...
