  • Re: SPECULATE.XCP - Weekly Payouts!

@ogcoiner When do I get my SPECULATE brotha man?? Its been a whole day

Sorry man I should have mentioned on here that I am out of town at the moment (and its all done manually currently). I will make sure to get you your tokens before tomorrows payout :)

  • Re: EARNFREEBTC.XCP - Earn BTC with your CounterWallet

@paws1t1veev Thanks for the regular dividends!

It appears that the vending machine for XBTC will no longer allow conversion of BTC to XBTC.

Will this effect dividend payments? Could they be paid out in XCP?

    https://forums.counterparty.io/discussion/761/quick-buy-update-from-vennd-io

The disabling of BTC -> XBTC conversion is only temporary actually, and I have had word from the guys at vennd that it will be coming back soon. However conversions the other way around (XBTC -> BTC) still work, so you can still trade in what you have for real bitcoin. Additionally I can also personally convert XBTC for anyone if they dont want to use the vending machine.

As for dividends, I have several weeks worth of XBTC stashed to make payouts with, so all is good :)

  • Re: Has CP become a mere wallet?

    @bitsol

@tintin Their wallet is broken as sh*t, can't even login properly without getting errors. Massive delays in balance synching(, up to a few days). Made multiple accounts and problems still persist, there is no contacting proper support. In the end it all works, it just sucks a lot of energy out of me. I don't recommend this wallet at all. If there is something else I will gladly use it.

all we need is a fork of counterparty that runs on a more stable server, easy!

Sort of. Even if it had more stable backend servers, the whole front end application is slow and clunky. Its not too bad when you have a fresh wallet and only a couple tokens. But when you start building up a large transaction history, have a lot of addresses and have dozens of tokens, it becomes really noticeable.

What we really need is just a good desktop wallet or plugin/extension to an existing wallet like electrum, multibit or armory.

  • Re: is gems legit?

@coinswatcher They seem fairly legit. They did an AMA on reddit, they are partnered with Koinify which seems extremely reputable.

My concerns at the moment was that the reddit AMA was deleted, and that some of the press across multiple sites reads the exact same way from one site to another which looks like they paid for it.

Interesting, any ideas on why they deleted their AMA thread? Community backlash?

  • Re: Where is the new logo?

@coinswatcher The new logo is slick. Excited to see it in use somewhere :)

I am guessing that is more of a "network logo". Are we going to see it on some network sites?

What sites are in the network currently? Are more coming?

As far as individual websites go, LTB is the only one (I guess you could consider the individual sites for each podcast part of it also?). We are currently in the process of joining forces with CoinFire though, so that will be fun :p

  • Re: [VOTE] We've made it , we're on BTER coin voting.

nice #27 already, getting up there! Maybe we will get in the top 10 soon
