  • Re: Official Bug Report Thread

    @heunland I am trying to setup a new token controlled forum. I filled out the form and selected 50,000 LTBC as payment option. But when I tried to submit it gives an error: "Error connecting to Counterparty"

    Please help!

    Must have been a server crash, looks like it's back up now, you can try again and it should work.

    @btcdroid

    @cryptonaut Also so far I have not been able to reproduce the disappearing dashboard link / disappearing menu items issue, tried it at various screen sizes and zoom levels... if someone who is still experiencing that issue wants to take a screenshot of it, that would help

    I can supply screenshots. How can I get them to you?

    You can email them to me at the address in my profile

    @btcdroid My graphs were last updated Mar 12 and Mar 14. I have logged out/logged in a couple of times since then.

    Yeah, they are supposed to update daily but weren't for some reason. Should be good now, will check back tomorrow to make sure chart updates triggered

    @btcdroid I think you may be right. I was checking my status from my dashboard, and it was saying "Offline". After some minutes (8-ish?), my status in the dashboard and in the forum posts changed to "Online".

    IMHO, this is a bug. I wonder if the status has to propagate from tokenly.com, and that is causing this delay in the display.

    Yeah this was a bug, wasn't updating the "last active" time when logging in. Fixed now

    @btcdroid I noticed an oddity with the notification counters. I can't recall the behavior on the previous system, so I don't know if this is a new bug.

    When I logged in, I had 1 notification. On my dashboard page, the red counter at the top of the screen (beside my username) read "[1]" and the menu on the dashboard page read "Notifications (1)". When I clicked the red "[1]" to see my notification, it changed to "[0]" as expected. However, the menu still read "Notifications (1)".

    Does that description make sense?

    More of an oddity than a bug. I never bothered to make the "Notifications (X)" text in dashboard menu update automatically in the same way that the link beside your username in the header works. I suppose I should update that to make it consistent, I will add it to my list.

    Also so far I have not been able to reproduce the disappearing dashboard link / disappearing menu items issue, tried it at various screen sizes and zoom levels... if someone who is still experiencing that issue wants to take a screenshot of it, that would help

    I'm on it guys, will post back here when it's fixed

  • Re: Official Bug Report Thread

    Yeah I will mess around with it and get it fixed

  • Re: Official Bug Report Thread

    @deebee I don't seem to have a dashboard link on non-dashboard pages. So I have to use a link in the menus to go to a dashboard page (like magic words) and then the dashboard icon is there to get to the main dashboard page

    Just to clarify, you do not see your username (which should be clickable) in the top right corner of the page, just to the left of the orange "On Today's Show..." box?

    @cryptonaut

    Question about Affiliate Link

    If I add "?ref=myaffiliatelinknumbers" to web address of another LTB Network page,

    eg "https://letstalkbitcoin.com/forum?ref=myaffiliatelinknumbers"

    will the system counts the referrals using such a link?

    Yep you can add the ?ref=myrefcode bit at the end of any URL :)

  • Re: LTBN Joins the Tokenly Application Network

    @yefet hmm weird, I use google chrome as well and without problem. But yeah now that I look that up, looks like there is some quirkiness with google chrome that causes that issue when a website is embedded within another website via "iframes". See here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/20524091/google-chrome-cross-domain-cookie-issue-with-iframe

    There should be a setting in Chrome that says something like "Block third party cookies" which you can disable and should fix it?

    Looks like your answer is here: https://letstalkbitcoin.com/forum/post/transferring-the-value-of-a-national-currency-onto-the-bitcoin-blockchain

  • Re: LTBN Joins the Tokenly Application Network

    @yefet

    @cryptonaut @yefet so after logging out and back in, the inventory page is still asking you to log in once more but not letting you through? What happens if you go and try and sign in directly on https://accounts.tokenly.com ?

    If I go directly everything is OK

    Ok, thanks for the info. I will continue to investigate and try and reproduce the issue so I can get it fixed
