  • Re: First article about Tokenly published

    @nicolaminichiello Yes, I had to shrink it quite a bit as the editor on BNC also thought it was too long. Usually they only publish up to 1500 words, so at least I managed to sneak this one in :) Thank you to BNC for allowing that. I tried to be as comprehensive as possible while describing Tokenly, the tech, and the use cases. Feedback appreciated, I'm only getting started with writing.

    No problem, its pretty good overall! The main thing is there is just so much to cover, so I could see how it could be difficult.

    Some specifics:

    The core business model at Tokenly is renting token vending machines, at a flat monthly rate, and letting the people who fill them with tokens get to work quickly

    this part seemed not quite right, as obviously just renting the vending machines isnt the main or only part of our business :) which is pretty much explained further throughout the article anyways though

    Tend is the stand-alone version of the TokenSlot API, it doesn’t have a full-on web store or checkout system already built (like a Swapbot), instead it offers a unique, sharable order and payment page for each “slot” created. Developers can quickly add the ability to accept tokens on their website, app or service by integrating with the TokenSlot API. Documentation is available here. In the near future, TokenSlot will also be able to accept Credit Cards via Stripe and many Altcoins via ShapeShift.io.

    Minor correction: Tend and TokenSlot are two separate things. TokenSlot is basically a payment processor for tokens, and Tend is the first front-end application which makes use of it.

    That's mostly it I think actually, otherwise does a pretty good job of going over everything.

    Nice work. Only criticisms I think is I'd say its a bit too long, the first half is kind of all over the place and mixes up names and technicals, and also the article ends sort of abruptly. Good start though :)

  • Re: Bitcoin Script

    @sbatz72

    @cryptonaut Not gonna lie, I have no idea what you are talking about. What "bitcoin script" do you mean? I am looking to program an Arduino with a Sha256 code. I would like to mine some BTC with the Arduino.

    Sounds like what you need is just some mining software. See here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_software note though that you are probably going to make next to nothing. BTC Mining requires some serious investment nowadays in order to make anything

    @dee007 @Cryptonaut

    Have a look at the link. It seems they want to centralize it.

    yep, then they are missing the point of blockchains - but it will still be interesting :P

  • Re: Can't Fine The Founder's Forum!

    @skwibity Ohhh, I was not trying to beg. I really didn't know.

    But that's very kind of you, and I will use it!

    No one was selling one in the market either.

    Once again big thanks!

    No problem!

  • Re: CITIBANK DEVELOPING ITS OWN CRYPTOCURRENCY

    I wouldn't see it as any sort of threat to bitcoin, but it will be interesting to see what they try and do though.
