@belltown When I lived in Ukraine it was a very common question to ask: what is your salary? And people answered all the time.
But in US everybody's like: WTF? What kind of question is it? :)
this is very true. in north america for some reason people are scared of saying exactly how much they make or what their wage is. especially if you work in the same place. strange
thanks for the heads up guys looks like the site crashed. fixed now
@lainfinity @Cryptonaut Thank you very much. It will help me to avoid posting twice. Is it OK to send you LTBcoin as a small token of appreciation for your efforts to your profile address or to a different address?
sure man, that would be much appreciated :p one in my profile is fine
@danc0nia Howdy, my name is Kylan and I have been a Bitcoin enthusiast for about 2.5 years at this point. I am currently a web developer and am happy to announce that I have started contributing my time to the LTB website development.
BTC are definitely an intriguing topic and as a voluntaryist I am definitely excited about what I believe to be a critical change to the way that money is handled and processed in this world we live in.
I hope to continue contributing to cryptocurrencies not only as a developer but hopefully also in other ways including starting an eCommerce website by the end of the year. I have a decent amount of experience with digital marketing at this point so if you ever have any questions or are looking to hire a developer then keep me in mind!
welcome man! Great to have you on the team
@davidareallen Ok. so this might be a good place to request features, too, right?
For example, I would like to have my text flush left.... or flush right... or centered.
Or even have my signature formatted...
feature requests can be done in the LTB platform support board.
also your signature uses markdown formatting as well, same as posts etc.
live post previews have now been added
@cyrilhouri I am one of the co-founders of Brawker and I would like to respond to this. Brawker doesn't take the "BIG CUT" you are talking about. In fact, Brawker takes almost no cut at all. Brawker is a peer-to-peer exchange, so the bitcoin price that you see is the price that someone else is willing to sell their bitcoin for. If someone wants to sell their bitcoins at $140 over market price, that's their problem: it's up to the buyer to take this order or not. But this is the case with any bitcoin exchange: the price you get is what someone else is willing to sell for. That's basic supply and demand.
kind of like localbitcoins. they take a pretty small cut, but its quite common to see everyone listing like $50+ over the normal exchange rates
@jrm30 @Crypronaut I feel like I'm flying blind. I'm used to previewing my post before publishing it. There's that, and I've never used markdown before (and maybe I have some perfectionistic tendencies).
ask and you shall receive :) there is now a "live preview" box underneath the post form which shows you a live preview of your post as you type.

@jrm30 what specifically have you been having troubles with? just the seemingly random gigantic heading text that likes to show up?
