the specific 5 post thing has been done for a while now, that was just a part of the initial distribution. Now, any forum posts or other site activity gets you rewards

this would require a hard fork and like crimsonroze mentioned, it just means you need more confirmations for the same level of security. Faster block times is basically the main feature of a lot of alt-coins such as Litecoin

This is more than last weeks payout, I think. Is that correct? I am wondering between earnfreebtc and petamine will I be able to send all my xbtc to earnfreebtc and get them exchanged, or do I have to decipher between the 2. I can take this and reinvest to get more shares added for next week. I sure hope I will be earning a whole btc between the 2 each week in no time flat.
yeah, last week was a short week because it was the first week the fund started. TBH, you will probably get higher payout from reinvesting in petamine, but diversification is good. I think im going to start a thread soon to list all counterparty assets that pay out regular dividends. I know of at least 2 others which give payouts (gigahash and stormwind) but they arnt as frequent

I think I first heard about it on reddit sometime back in 2011. Then sometime mid 2012 I saw another article on it. Started reading about it a bit more and then suddenly I was hooked. Spent a couple weeks constantly reading everything I could about it and thinking about all the crazy possibilities and implications
