Re: [FUNDRAISER] Educational Video: Family Economics.
@crimsonroze if @tim-tams sees this and helps out, that'd be great. Update the slideshow to be a 18.2 seconds shorter and one frame [where I wonder if the tools already exist] fewer.
@tim-tams Yep, I can cut anything you need. I'm also starting work on the new recording, should be done today. Sorry it's taken me awhile.
No worries, take the time you need. Just to be sure though, the only change that is needed for the old recording is cutting out 18.2 seconds for the frame that is in the end of the middle and has no text where I talk about technology possibly not being here. I wasn't away of how multisig was working when you have multiple keys at some part in the transaction and it solved all the issues by making 3-of-4 where the child has two of the keys.

@cryptonaut the article is long since published and there is no need for this image anymore. Can you lock the thread please?

Re: Is this being done or possible ?
@littleshibe Attaching a message to an individual coin/token and sending it to someone, Then person who receives token is able to read message.
Perhaps a password, Lets say I make a token on counterparty that someone can purchase then when they redeem it they receive a password token that would include the password attached.
Sort of. Let's say you make a 2 shibetokens. You could grant/limit access to something using those tokens in a couple of different ways. But both of those tokens would have the same access. So if you gave one shibetoken to me and another to your dog we would both have access to the same stuff. To give us separate levels of access we would need different token types, meaning a whole new asset (shibetoken & shibetoken2)
Or different amounts. See TCV (Token Controlled Viewpoint) for reference. @Adam and the LTB nettwork is working on solutions like this.
With regards to sending data on the bitcoin network: it is possible, but the data is public. If it is a one-time transfer you could encrypt it so that only the owner of the recipients public address can decrypt it, but it is not comfortable and both ends need to do non-standard things to get it to work.
If the idea was to attach meta-data to tokens that is not private sensitive passwords then one could use technologies like Colored Coins.
If someone else knows where to link to these things, feel free. (I'm at work and can't spend too much time digging atm.)

Re: [FUNDRAISER] Educational Video: Family Economics.
I'm happy to see it going :)
Great. Updated the slideshow with the new images. All that is left now is to remove 18.2 seconds of the audio where I talk about uncertainty if the technology for 1+1-of-N exists. (it clearly does, as 3-of-4 where one part has two keys).
if @tim-tams sees this and helps out, that'd be great. If not I'll download audacity and see if I can manage to cut that section out myself and then update the slideshow to be a 18.2 seconds shorter and one frame fewer.

Re: PETAMINE.XCP - Mine bitcoin with your counterwallet! [Vote Complete]
Is there an automated vending machine somewhere where we could put in XBT and get out the BTC?
If so, what is it's track record? how reliable is it? who runs it?
The only thing keeping me from putting in a small amount to try with is that I don't get the payment back in BTC which means yet one more layer of things that can go wrong.

Re: Professional illustrator available for commissions.
@littleshibe It is interesting, this is type of project I work on. I signed up and played around some to check it out. This game just took me back. It reminds me of the early Ultima games or Bards tale, I really enjoyed those.
I'm glad you like my creation. It's old, slightly buggy but I'm considering to make a 2.0 version by remaking the user interface from scratch and just keeping the game data (jobs, factions, map cosntruction etc).
I think we could work out something that benefits us both. Feel free to message me on these forums and we can discuss what items/amount you might want first and any possible long term goals, then we can break down price and payment options and see if it works for us. A variation of all those payment options might be viable as well.
Lets make the long term goal clear: the only piece of art or design that I want to keep is the logo. It took me a good deal of time to make and I'm quite fond of it. For everything else I want to redesign and remake it for better usability (Some things are just unacceptibly complex to understand atm)
Short term I can see a few milestones:
- ) Make a new (complete) icon set for abilites, jobs and factions.
- ) Make a new paper doll / avatar generator that works better than the current one.
- ) Make a new map tileset and add map buildings and functions
The paper doll / avatar is the one I'd like to start with, but it has alot of techinical limitations and requirements so it might be better to start with icon set for abilities, jobs and factions as those are relatively simple from a technical standpoint. (squares, transparent background)
I could give you some strong branding images and style with this, part of reason I illustrate now is games like this so thanks for asking.
Having an interesting branding would certaintly help make the game more unique and having interest in the game and new art for it would inspire me to work on it again.
In which end would you like to begin? As I said I have a bit of a limited funding (it's a hobby game) but I have a bit over 150k LTBc and more hopefully incoming as my articles gets published, so maybe that would be enough to start even though I totally understand that it is in no way enough for any extensive works.
If you would like a more direct means of conversation, you can talk with me on jabber (JID: [email protected]) or I could come online on IRC. We could also use this forums private messages or talk in this forum thread - I'm online and available a good amount of hours every day :)

Re: Help me pick an android phone: 1,000 ~ 10,000 LTBc
@cryptonaut - I've decided and this thread keeps getting replies and they're now at a point where people simply don't even bother to consider the specifications, they just want post count.
Can we lock this thread and move the spamming elsewhere?

Re: Price maniputlation
those 3k sell orders are just someone wanting to cash up when the price rises. They don't "manipulate" the market any more than any other orders.

Re: Icons missing while editing
@wassup When I'm editing a post the three icons doesn't load:
Is this happening only to me?
No, this happens to me as well, every now and then. It is not linked to writing posts.
I have also seen issues with the previous, play and next buttons from time to time.
