Re: AUCTION VENDING MACHINES ARE NOW OPERATIONAL
would be nice to just scan this page http://auction.letstalkbitcoin.com/ and see which auctions have bids and what the bids are rather than clicking into individual auctions.

Re: [CLOSED] 100K LTBc Design Logo for my Website
The contest is still open. However, it is closed to new entrants. That is, some folks have indicated on this board that they intended to submit a design and have not yet done so. They can still submit for ~48 hours.

You can't plagiarize facts
There have been a few (well more than a few) instances where other venues have "misappropriated" my work without giving me credit. This is content I have created over here and at Bitcoin Magazine.
But I have never accused anyone of plagiarism and it is not copyright infringement either.
It sloppy journalism. It can also be unethical journalism. And sometimes downright dirty journalism.
Anyway I thought I would share this amazing video "dord" that was just posted by Vsauce
The video is 13 minutes long https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nb0YoRMXIY0
so if you want to fast forward to the relevant part... go here http://youtu.be/nb0YoRMXIY0?t=6m28s (queued to 6:28)
So this is the first time I have learned about Esquivalience "Esquivalience" is a fictitious entry in the New Oxford American Dictionary (NOAD), which was designed and included to protect copyright of the publication." More at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esquivalience
Coincidentally I started my own version of Esquivalience in my articles. I haven't made up any facts but it can catch people who use my articles without crediting the true source. If the author of the other venue claims otherwise---gotcha!
LTB Authors who are interested in my version of "Esquivalience" can PM me and i'll be happy to share with authors and editors.

Re: AUCTION VENDING MACHINES ARE NOW OPERATIONAL
I think that proxy bidding is so common on the interwebs that their s/b notice that system is not like eBay and doesn't use a proxy system. Not sure how many people will even know what that means but at least it will be out there.

Re: AUCTION VENDING MACHINES ARE NOW OPERATIONAL
Do you think its impossible to have a blockchain based proxy bidding system that ensures the secrecy of bidder's high bid?
I suppose someone who builds such an animal has a valuable product on their hands.
BitMit was auction based... but that was off-blockchain.... :(
