Re: It's Expensive Using Bitcoin!
@adam Todays distribution to 419 people cost .05BTC in tx fees! This cost is only going to grow as the audience grows, how do you think we should deal with this?
Set up a donation BTC address used for this only so it's transparent and known. Maybe you would get enough weekly, not sure?
Yep, good idea.

Re: Counterwallet Notifications and Discussion
@popinjay Anybody else having counterwallet troubles? I'm getting errors and no balance showing
Yes, servers appear to be down. I tried to send out some still-owed content LTBC (about 4 million total) and got zero balances on everything and error messages about the server.

Re: LTBCoin for SPAM
I'm glad you guys think this is a good idea, we want to do exactly this but expand it even beyond spam control - rather, we want the audience to be able to participate and be rewarded for good curation work.
So now is a good time to be talking about this :)

@dgiors @adam Mentioned in my sig I have a small podcast some friends and I publish. I'm potentially interested in bidding for a 45 second slot. A few questions:
- What's the estimated number of listeners per LTB episode?
- Can we provide you with any sort of script, catchphrases etc. or is editorial control completely yours?
- How do we apply to become an approved sponsor?
- Does it matter that we are not Bitcoin or Crypto focused?
- Do you intend to offer 30 or 45 second pre-recorded slots for auction in the future?
- Is there a more relevant thread to post these questions?
Thanks a bunch.
1 - 10,000-ish although we're in a six week long war trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with apple and our feeds (it looks like it was the way soundcloud was serving stat tracking files so we've gone to AWS for static files which might have fixed the problem)
2 - Editorial control is mine, but if you do the work for me and I like it I'm not going to complain.
3 - Indicate what you want to promote and let me tell if I'm OK with it or not.
4 - Not really, what is the show about?
- I'm enjoying the manuevering room with 45 seconds, but I'm not sure if I'll get tired of doing these live reads.
6 - You could start one, but this is as good as any.

Re: Tipping LTB with LTBcoin
Yep - Fap = something pleasing for one person and pretty boring for everyone else, and you've got it exactly right.
Also note that I don't sock-puppet, I do this in the open because we're all playing by the same rules.

Re: It's Expensive Using Bitcoin!
@robmitchell Think it would cause problems if you sold LTBcoin for Bitcoin, to cover these cost? Is the relationship pretty linear, so that 10x the people will cost 10x the BTC?
It does sounds like a real problem if there's not a workaround. Is there any public (or private) discussion with Counterparty about these fees adding up?
Eventually, yes. The cost is pretty low relatively, something like 3-5 US cents each. Right now its just very noticible because LTBCOIN is not worth very much, but we're handling the early distribution.

Re: Counterwallet Notifications and Discussion
Rob, orders are being improved - they are moving to a "BTer.com" style order interface, which has both buying and selling on the same page and a unified order book.
