Since the beginning, Adam has bridged the gap between journalist and innovator. After spending 2013 speaking on and evangelizing the nascent Bitcoin Tipping effort, Adam has spent the last year focused on the possibilities of "Tokens built on Bitcoin".
In June of 2014 he launched LTBCOIN, the first Cryptocurrency Rewards Program and most recently he has become the founder and CEO of Tokenly, a company building open source tools to make Tokens more useful and more usable to everyone.

The Tokenly Ecosystem is made up of three primary components that can be mixed together quickly and cheaply to let you use tokens for a ton of things.
Swapbot is a very simple Tokens In, Tokens Out vending machine that lives on the internet. Each Swapbot has a 'native' token that it sells in exchange for as many different types of tokens as the operator cares to set up. If you've got a token you'd like to sell with Swapbot, get started here
Once someone has bought your redeemable token, you need a way for them to easily pay you and indicate where they want to collect their good or service.
Tend (powered by the TokenSlot API) is a simple self-serve redemption system allowing operators to easily customize a redemption form for each good or service offered, collect the proper information and confirm payment then notify the merchant (or do something else in versions to come!) **If you're selling redeemable tokens, you can get started accepting them with Tend here
and finally, the LTB Companion will soon be forking into a non-branded version called Tokenly Pockets that will (eventually) allow any token to embed its branding into the wallet when a wallet owner is using your token. So when LTBCOIN is the active coin in the wallet the branding would be LTBCOINs, when I've got SWARM selected it would have a different look as they define their coin. This will be a premium feature available on a self-serve basis for coin operators through the wallet itself
That's not available yet, but the free LTB Companion wallet is that, minus the branding and without the ability to change LTBCOIN from being the default token (which some people will want to do). If you haven't gotten started with the LTB Companion, it's highly recommended and quite free.
Everything is at a basic alpha-quality level, expect to run into bugs periodically and let us know if you have any problems. As always, with experimental tech things could go horribly wrong and you could lose money - We will do our best to work with you on any issues that should arise, to this point there have not been any such issues.
Major Kudos to my technical co-founders @cryptonaut (Tend) and @devon (Swapbot) and community developer @loon3 (LTB Companion), If it wasn't for these guys I'd still just be talking about this stuff instead of being able to not just use it myself, but share it with you.
NOTE: you MUST use either Counterwallet or the LTB Companion to be able to control and use your tokens. Do NOT send BTC from a shared wallet service like Coinbase, Circle, Bitstamp, etc. Instead, quickly create a counterparty compatible wallet with one of the tools above, send the BTC to one of your new addresses, and now use that wallet to deal with bitcoin and tokens.
One Last Thing: Please make a note of any Swapbots/Tends I've missed that should be on this list, this'll be folded into a blog post in a week or so if you want to be in the initial announcement
