KARM - aka Karma Coin is going through some changes. There is some big talk about a buyout of the lill search engine, and there was a HUGE sell-off today (about 2% of the overall coin) on the exchanges.

People in live chats on cryptsy are talking about a possible scam, or an insider dump on poor outlooks.

There is some undisclosed announcement coming tomorrow (9/1/14) about the deal, supporters of the Karmashares program are posting that they feel payday is coming.

I personal am trying to decide if I want to try to get in on Karma Shares, its about a $40 investment, but it might be worth it if it turns out...

What are your guys thoughts?

  It seems there has been a second major dump and the price on KARM has bottemed out, currently trading for sub-100 litoshi...

  Good, bad, or ugly, what do ya guys think?

  I usually don't like following herds.

  You aren't in it, so have no risk potential. You also have no reward potential, but the sell-off indicated more risk than reward at this point.

  Personally, if I were interested in the coin, I'd be ready to move and wait to hear what the announcement is. If good, you can grab some coin as it rises. If bad, you move on to the next coin.

  I haven't put any money into it, but I haven't put money into any alt coin.

  I have been mining it, because of the high rewards, which I was using to practice trading with.

  Have about 100k karm atm, so it would be nice to see it skyrocket now...

  The trades werent herds, they were single trades, about over 100mil each I think, about 4% of the vulume now?...

  Thanks for the advice though. I will look into what coin to move to nest. Any advice on a coin worth mining to learn and trade with on a GPU? Im running the X11 algo coins atm, as they are in low asic teritory and also low heat :)
