I'm really quite thrilled with the advances that the whole LTBCoin is making. And the whole idea is extremely innovative and attractive.

The podcasts are great, the articles are interesting, but I have one nit pick.

The design of the Forums.

I'm a big reddit user so the forums here feel so outdated in comparison. I've made a side by side comparison to show the difference.

In one screen height of LTB forum, I'll see something like 3 lines of actual discussion. Whereas in the Reddit design, we get a huge amount of well organized texted.

As well, Reddit is organized as a hierarchy, which makes the discussions back and forth between people very easy to manage, without resorting to quoting other peoples text simply to reply to them.

I'm sure it doesn't feel like a very high priority, to change the design of a website when all this other stuff is happening, but we are trying to get people to participate in a discussion. And right now, the design of the system to participate in that discussion feels very outdated, and people who might want to participate here won't stay because the tools for them to talk aren't as good as the ones that they will find on reddit.

I'd happily pay some of my LTBcoin to make this change happen if that is a possibility.

Hmmmm.... Maybe I will get a sponsorship spot and make my voice even more loudly heard.

I agree completely. The Bulletin Board type design of the 90s is very tired, and this seems like a bit of a step below that. I also agree that it's probably not a high priority, but it would sure help the platform shine!

@kylerk its in the works already. Basically everything you see right now is more or less a placeholder for future upgrades

Hey Kyle! Thanks for the feedback! We thoroughly know the forums are poorly designed and I'm currently working on designing a completely new forum with a much better user experience. We're going to be incorporating a lot of new social features that will make a world of difference. We actually just decided last week to incorporate reddit style commenting hierarchy as you mentioned. @cryptonaut is completely backed up with development work at the moment with some other new features that are kicking off soon. Once that's finished I believe we will begin updating the forums with the new design. I've been working on it for it nearly a month now so hang tight good things are coming soon! Thanks again for the feedback :)

Great news @matt and @cryptonaut. The hierarchy thing is really the feature that really makes the difference for me.
