Why would a messaging app pay you to send messages?

Is this like adfly where it pays you to share links, but it is annoying for the user because of the ads?

I've some doubts about it, they have recently changed the pre sale conditions and it seems way expensive don't see any point in buying at the pre sale price, waiting to see the App first

They seem fairly legit. They did an AMA on reddit, they are partnered with Koinify which seems extremely reputable.

My concerns at the moment was that the reddit AMA was deleted, and that some of the press across multiple sites reads the exact same way from one site to another which looks like they paid for it.

Interesting, any ideas on why they deleted their AMA thread? Community backlash?

There's nothing indicating it's not legit so far. The messaging feature definitely works as advertised. I've never seen an ad so far when messaging and never earned any gems so idk how much incentive people will have to actually use it if you only get rewards once in blue moon.

gems are only worth like 2 or 3 cents apiece according to coinmarketcap so I would expect ads to appear somewhat frequently. I'll continue using it for a little longer, if nothing happens I'll just switch back to my other messenger.

The advertising and earning of gems features have not been released yet. They are focusing on security first. Gems will be awarded retroactively, so active participation now will pay later.

Reddit moderators deleted the AMA due to rules forbidding discussions involving crowdfunding.
