all the hackers storries have no end. after all known mtgox and only recently bitstamp and bter....

I thought we need a new thread for that stuff.

just now I got email from bitmain for an DDOS attack threatening. they wrote:

"Dear Bitmain Customer,

This morning we received a concerning email from a group of hackers threatening Bitmain and our services with a DDoS attack and demanding a ransom payment to prevent the attack. Bitmain is committed to providing the best service possible to our users, and will not invite future attacks of this sort by giving in to the demands of hackers.

The hackers have demonstrated that they do possess the capability to execute a DDoS and that this is not an entirely empty threat, although we do not know the full extent of their capabilities. During the next few days, Bitmaintech.com , AntPool, AntPool.com , and&nbs p;Hashnest.com may experience intermittent outages. Our team is working hard to ensure that the effects of any possible attack will be as minimal as possible.

For those customers mining on AntPool, please make sure that you have configured your backup pools properly in the event that you are unable to access AntPool."

Yes recently the hacker is so famous, their show their tooth on the public with hack some exchanger, and most all famous exchanger. This is the serious problem which start from human error actually. If the bigest bitcoin exchanger hire expert cracker, make highest system, this is not happen again.

You will continue to see a growing amount of hackers in this space, more so then any other space. Before BTC, the most they could do is steal information. Now information is valuable, but by stealing information as a hacker, you must follow through with that information you have obtained by trying to do things like identity theft to actually steal money. Each layer gets harder and harder. As for with BTC, you can steal money directly with no one able to compensate the end user back. From this day forward, you will never see a shortage of hackers again.

With BTC (like everything else including the internet) you need to take the good with the bad
