With all this talk of "tokens," I'm taken back to my days in arcades. It seems that a perfect application of this counterparty/mastercoin token concept is in gaming tokens. I've tried to play Huntercoin but have not been able to download the blockchain... I think it is a pefect example of an application which should have a "Token" riding atop another blockchain.

Yeah, it is like an arcade. The LTB platform is like an arcade and people are rewarded with tokens for participating. Right now the games are free to play, but I imagine down the road there will be more use-cases for these tokens instead of just producing ads. Various ways to redeem your coins for access to more information or features on the site.
