I am very new here but when a post of mine was liked it sent me an email letting me know who did. Probably not most convenient way but just wanted to let you know. If I recall correctly a little pop up message let me know in top right corner as well.

yeah, your notifications tell you who liked it. I could probably add a simple list of usernames that show up when you hover over the "like" button or something

Exactly what I was thinking. I can see who liked my posts, but if I'm scrolling through and I see some "likes" on other peoples' posts I get curious to know who is thinking along the same lines. I mean, it's a community here. There are certain shared positions that are emerging. That's the fascinating thing for a social scientist like me.

@William I added this in the other day (might change it up a bit to actually link to peoples profiles etc.). If you hover over the "Like" button on any post, it will show you a list of usernames that liked said post.

Nice, I didn't noticed this feature before.

It's not a BIG one but all these small improvements contribute to an overall better forum experience. And yes, my english sometimes is grammar-nazi-like sry :P

It also might be cool to have a subtle online/offline indicator next to their profile avatar within forum posts. Perhaps a small Bitcoin symbol that's either green or greyed out depending on if they're online.
