Scenario:

- Consider the case where an LTBcoin listener wants to learn more about some cryptocurrency topic, wants to learn more about an altcoin, or wants to invest in a cryptocurrency company.

Project Details:

The content bounty operates like this:

End to end idea submission and delivery:

- The LTBcoin user submits a new show/blog idea or "+1" a submitted idea.- The idea is entered into a queue of content bounties visible to LTBcoin users and content makers and is sorted by the number of "+1" received. A content maker is free to choose any show that interests them.- The content maker does research + interviews and assembles the show/post on the topic they've chosen from the content bounty.
- The show is released and content makers are paid 90% of their standard LTBcoin by the LTBcoin network.
- The person or group who submitted or "+1" a submitted idea get 10% of the LTBcoin reward.- The bounty topic is inserted into a 'claimed bounty list' and removed from the current bounty list.
- If someone re-enters a topic that's been submitted and addressed, they are presented with a link to the shows/posts related to the claimed bounty.

Up for debate
- Who determines whether a content bounty has been addressed? Is this determined by listeners or the content maker submitting the story?
- Listeners: They could say the content hasn't been addressed and multiple content makers can address the content bounty.
- Content Makers: The content is considered addressed when the bounty post/show is submitted.

Would we call this the Proof of Idea model?
How do we eliminate spam of the same ideas?
Maybe content creators sort through the list and downvote ideas they know have already been submitted and addressed?
10% seems like a lot for an idea. Maybe this value should migrate depending on how good of an idea it is.
For instance, if LTBcoin had been established a few weeks ago, a user could be the first to post "create show outlining what happened at Mt.Gox", given it's an obvious topic that everyone is going to cover they shouldn't really own a large stake in the idea.
I'm just thinking of examples that might break the system.

"- If someone re-enters a topic that's been submitted and addressed, they are presented with a link to the shows/posts related to the claimed bounty."

This would address an idea that was already submitted. I agree that up and down votes will help pick the more popular ideas.

That percentage was just taken off the top of my head, but it would be split based on the number of "+1s" or upvotes. If the idea was popular the reward would be diluted. If the author found a rare idea, the unique submission would get all 10%. I would think this model would drive people away from popular content and more forward thinking topics.

Definitely continue thinking of these system-breaking examples. Thanks!

@hesham3del @Cryptonaut, how did you missed this ?

the post is from way back in march and actually from the old forum system. TBH I wasnt on those forums a whole lot, was way too busy building the site :p

We actually have something similar to what the OP described in planning. The current blog / submission interface is being totally re hauled, and there will be a feature for topic/content suggestions and bounties
